These sorts of articles are everywhere at the moment and if they're telling me anything it's that winter is dull and your wardrobe should be duller still. Autumn/winter signals the onslaught of rails upon rails of blacks, greys, maroons, and navys and it's enough to make me want to hibernate. Winter is many things.
